2014 International Relations Books
In the study of international relations, it is important for scholars, policymakers, and students to continue to read on different topics, particularly as events continue to unfold in the international system. Thus, having access to international relations resources such as books, journals, or libraries (that house important and useful materials) is important. There are many great works written by scholars that will help someone understand an international relations issue much better.
And while there are a number of great works produced yearly, I just wanted to bring to your attention a Best International Relations Books of 2014 list by Foreign Affairs. I don’t particularly like “best” lists because there are often many valuable books that don’t get mentioned. But I do think that these lists at least point out some important works that can be useful for students and scholars. Thus, don’t take these lists as the complete set of all important works, but rather, look at them as merely one possible starting point for your reading on international relations for the year.
I urge you to take a look at the list, and see if there are any topics of particular interest to you. I myself are not familiar with all of the works, but it seems that are some very interesting topics on international relations.
Again, I recommend looking the works, and then evaluating the arguments that the scholars are putting forth. In addition, let this be another possibility for reading additional books on international relations topics.
